The mayor before the vote reflected on the weight of his office, even in “times of great consternation and division,” by invoking civil rights leaders and connecting their struggles with his attempt to tax the rich.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
