Everybody realizes that this is logistically impossible, right? There’s no option to purchase electricity from specific generating sources. All generated electricity is fed into the grid and nobody chooses what specific source to purchase from. This is actually insulting and this reporter should be embarrassed
And food to be produced in labs due to the loss of farmland, proliferation of warehouses ( which someday will make for living spaces ) etc. The Morlocks are taking over while the Eloi smoke pot, gamble, get drunk and cheer on sub- par sports teams. Many cite Orwellian ideas as the future realized, I think H.G.Wells is much more likely.
At what cost? Nobody cares, especially not WBEZ.
Mark, they don’t care how much because they’re never going to pay. We are! These virtue signalling fell good liberal programs are actually pushed by oligarchs who own the companies and profit from the contracts. It doesnt matter if it works or not. it doesn’t matter how much farmland is destroyed, or who loses their homes. Liberals who work at and follow WBEZ care even less about public safety and education of the black and brown they supposedly love so much as they live in buildings with a doorman and send their kids to private schools. LET THEM EAT CAKE!
Soon the city and state will invest taxpayer money in Lunar panels.
