Gov. JB Pritzker wants a bipartisan effort from Illinois lawmakers to demand more education money from the federal government. If he wants to keep money in Illinois and away from the Trump administration, the answer is easy: Opt into the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit Program, which provides a tax credit to donors who give money that can go to public, private or homeschool students.
There is already plenty of money, tons of money flowing into education and being wasted. More than enough. What there should be is a program for Vouchers that allow parents to choose where their children go to school and where their tax dollars are spent. I don’t hold out much hope of that as the Unions and Districts along with their paid for puppets in the state legislature will do what ever it takes to kill such a bill.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Start by following federal laws might help.

Stacey Gates and CTU won’t allow this.
