Arwady: Health Officials Have Explored Mass COVID Vaccination Sites at United Center, Wrigley Field – NBC5 (Chicago)

“We are completely ready to stand up mass vaccination sites, but it’s about vaccine,” Dr. Allison Arwady said. “If we start off with a vaccine site, we could do 5,000 doses a day. We only get 6,000 doses a day right now across all of Chicago, so it doesn’t make sense to put 5,000 of those doses at a mass vaccination site.”

Only now, one year into the pandemic, has the city investigate mass vaccine sites.
They got the mass early voting and absentee ballot sites down perfectly, but they can’t figure out the vaccine. We all know where their priorities are.

Not to mention that this was already in place with the city/state Pandemic plans drafted a few years ago and voted/approved by the legislature. Of course, just like any “official document” (uhmmm Constitution anyone?) it’s been completely forgotten about and thrown aside. Because… SCIENCE!
