Every area in Illinois is losing population. Illinois is the #1 state for people leaving. They were feeling guilty that the did not pay enough taxes (highest in the nation). Texas and Florida are growing like wildfire. Excessive taxes have made life terrible for working families.

The state has done everything is possibly can to drive businesses out of rural areas.

Suburbs? Nope
small rural cities? Yup

So no, not every area in the state is losing population.

You are full of it. Chicago is DOA. Suburbs are losing the high earners to non tax states. Illinois is in a free fall, look out below.
