Why isn’t Preckwinkle taking any heat for this? Kim Foxx won’t charge anyone and Tom Dart won’t keep anyone locked up. Something tells me that Preckwinkle is secretly smirking about the heat that Lightfoot is taking over all these murders. Maybe it’s time for a reporter to ask Toni what if anything the county is doing to help control the violence. Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades
