Ted was on Chicago’s Morning Answer with Dan and Amy on the morning of the election to talk about why he stays and continues to fight for Illinois, why state’s business leadership remaining silent is an endorsement of the status quo and how an episode of “Good Times” reveals that Chicago Public Schools has been failing students for 50 years.

If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
No Revolt, only a pipe dream.
Government pensions are going to be paid to people who moved out of state to avoid the mess they have created.
The only solution for someone is to run for your life and do not look back.
They won’t have voting rights in Illinois
Growing up in Detroit I’m not so sure a revolt is coming. It never happened there and I don’t see it happening here.
What I do forsee is an eventual stampede of productive people getting out of Chicago.
My advice is to keep going until you’re in a red state. Uprooting yourself is not something you want to do often.
I too grew up in Detroit — through the 1950s – 1970s. However, the riots of 1967 were an inflection point, and were a milestone in the decline of Detroit, which has never really recovered.
I came to Chicago to escape Detroit, but now I see the same symptoms in Chicago,
and no leadership to address the problems of crime, economic decline, social polarization, etc.
Time to start planning to leave again for greener pastures…..

Agreed, the 1967 riots were one bookend and the other bookend was the 2 decade tenure of Coleman Young.
We had election corruption going back to the 50s with Daley Sr. Remember, vote early and vote often. Now with mail-in ballots they can create as many votes as they need. Illinois politicians exist to milk the system for their own personal benefit.
No fixing Illinois. We are surrounded by idiots. All the conservative rational people have either died or left the state. More will leave. How many conservatives left Illinois for Florida in the past several years? The collar counties are all woke.
Turnout was too low. The Democrats are singularly focused on winning elections in IL unlike the demoralized IL GOP.
This is not a problem unique to IL. The D party in Red States are as hapless as the IL GOP here. The country is divided and polarized. Red areas became more Red. Blue areas became even more blue.
There’s a political civil war going on that might lead to actual war. We all need to move to a red state and fortify. IL isn’t getting any better. It’s only getting worse.
If the national political landscape doesn’t move red, the deep blue states will have more leverage to collect from the wallets of those that left. Running away only buys a person some time. The national results were the most disappointing thing about last night. The Roe decision cost the GOP in Illinois and around the country.
Nope. You can’t vote your way out. Have to leave IL. Not a surprise. Once they can rig elections at will, you can’t vote your way out.
Let me HELP you out Ted Illinois is definition of INSANITY as it continues to do the same thing over and over and over expecting a different outcome
They think we are the crazy ones.
IL has become so polarized, and ideological, there’s no saving it. More people will flee. JB will be glad to see them leave, he has created an ideological progressive paradise, and normies aren’t welcome here.
Actually he hopes the normies leave without their wallets. It’s gonna get harder to redistribute wealth when there’s none around.
Never gonna happen. Democrats are too stupid to understand they are being led to the showers. Just cant fix stupid
Pritzker re-elected and it’s not even 8 PM. The stinkin’ status quo continues. ;(
