Attorney General Raoul Urges Congress to Pass Extension for Cares Act Funding As Pandemic Impacts Economy – RiverBender (Alton)

Several measures to extend the spending deadline past Dec. 30 are currently pending, including bipartisan legislation in both the House and Senate. Raoul and the attorneys general are urging Congress to pass one of these measures to give states and communities additional time to utilize the precious COVID-relief resources.

The Attorney General is now sticking his nose into economic matters? Why doesn’t this incompetent fool ignore the cameras and focus on his area of responsibility? I guess the IDES fraud, corruption, and crime have resolved?

Excellent point now he is a economic advisor like Pritzker is a M.D and Ezike knows what she is doing. And yes IDES needs to be his top priority! Kim Foxx will handle it ?

Illinois is desperate for more fed funding? But why hasn’t illinois spent the CARES ACT its got? Still a mystry as to how much of the CARES ACT $ have been spent to date?
