IL politicians treat non public union taxpayers with disdain. #1-3 in tax burden. #1-3 in political corruption. #51 in fiscal condition, behind PR. Schools terrible. Massive catch & release crime–which state politicians insist on exporting to the suburbs (ie un SafeT Act). Massive public union control of our politicians, with massive unfunded public union retirement benefits (secured by our homes via property taxes). Massive political mismanagement (i.e. IDES).
