I’d be fine with it as long as the woke left starts referring to the rest of us as “reality based individuals.”

She’s the worst rep. in Springfield because she’s an ideological nutjob that has done real damage. AOC is terrible but she doesn’t any real influence. Cassidy’s bills usually pass and she’s seriously damaged the state of IL with her nutcase – and she is a complete whackjob – ideas.

Isn’t Illinois Fun?

What about those of us “Impacted By Imbeciles”? And those who are “Forced Rideshare”, “Ammunition Impacted”, “Un-vehicled”, and retail stores “Un-Inventoried”?

Changed language from active to passive, from “offending” to “impacted” probably to reduce personal accountability for own actions and decisions. Got impacted because got caught.

Another stellar performance by the “ usual
Gang of idiots “. Let’s give the little Capones
A new moniker, how about dazzling urbanites that will make it all better.

It’s called conditioning. By putting a benign, smiley face name on committing murder, rape, robbery, child molestation etc. , it makes the acts more acceptable and less the disgusting behavior that they truly are.

This is comedy at its worst. We can’t can’t call a criminal a criminal? Hey, I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, man. This is a great example of –truly– civilization breaking down in Illinois.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
