A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Seems redress in the courts is in order.
Tax revenue must go much higher to cover the pension time bomb going off. The greed and lust for money of the public sector is now coming home to roost. Get use to higher and higher taxes and lower and lower services. As taxes go higher more taxpayers leave, so they have to go even higher. The Department of Buildings says they are commercial. They have to follow the building codes for commercial buildings. The Cook County Assessor is full of BS.
