While I admire your youthful optimism, the ideology that runs Chicago doesn’t want to “cooperate” with the federal govt; it wants to destroy it. This is about power politics vs the rule of law and restoring the constitutional order. Democrats use their unchecked power to empower themselves, and never solve any problems because that is not their goal. . It’s their business model that then leads to perpetual political power . If ICE can be beaten back by mobs, if federal agents must be shielded by troops just to do their jobs, then the rule of law itself is collapsing.… Read more »

It seems the lad has a solution by adding more of our tax dollars to an already bloated government.
Get rid of the grifters and illegals and you will not need more money.
