Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. There is no such thing as ” gun violence!”. There is violence committed with a gun, as there is violence committed with a knife or a rock or a poison or a fist. Lock up criminals with harsh sentences and stop blaming inanimate objects.
The scariest words in the English language are when a Democrat says “I want to fix the problem.” 🙂
(Apologies to Ronald Reagan.)
Ok, let’s try pubic hanging of convicted murderers like America used to?
Video evidence especially useful like in Luigi’s upcoming case!
Sherlock Jackson is right. I wonder if the venerable detective ever pondered that folks in his community aren’t paying their offspring any mind and have no idea as to where they are most of the time, what they are doing and whether they are packing or not? It’s rather elementary.
What type of “Disease” does a firearm have?
Do they catch it by touching the firearm or is it the PERSON with the problem and not the firearm?
Maybe putting a mask on will help ? Or 6 feet apart, or shutting the whole state down will fix it – these people are ridiculous, arrest the sh**heads and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law with prison time problem solved
Mr. Jackson, Americans aren’t about to give up their 2nd Amendment rights because the Democrats won’t stop shooting at each other.
Jackson is right. When gun violence goes unaddressed people move to safer areas. Like Matteson.
Just like Jackson says when gun violence persists people move to safer areas. Like Matteson and Country Club Hills.
So the guns must behave differently in those areas?
