Serious question – how many homicides “should” Chicago have every year?
When Old Joe was a kid Detroit led this league and not in a good way.
“ Bu.. bu..but Flat Rock, WY had 2 murders last year in a town of 100 people, so it’s more dangerous than CHI!” say the blue criminal enablers.
My delusional friends who stayed in Chicago wave off the murders, crime, and mayhem with “all big cities have problem”.
These are people who admittedly have to look over their shoulder when they walk their dog at night.

If it were not for the first responders ability to stabilize the shooting victims the homicide numbers would be much higher. They are working in battlefield conditions starting at the crime scene to the ER and then the recovery. Last year there were 2,982 people who were shot and 610 died. So far this year 285 shot and 72 died. What is the total cost to society?
As a comparison look at the staggering number of people killed in Haiti. The population in Haiti is approx 11.7M so less than Illinois but 5,600 were murdered.

It’s estimated that Joe Biden (and forever may history curse his name), under the Temporary Protected Status program, imported somewhere between 3.5% and 6.2% of the entire population of Haiti. No one really knows the true number because it was kept secret. Trump’s comment that the immigrants are “…eating the pets of the people [of Springfield, OH]” referred specifically to Haiti immigrants that were imported by the hundreds of thousands and plopped into the middle of small towns all over Red state America as punishment for voting for the wrong political party.
