I’m sure they’ll reconsider once they read Gov. Pritzker’s eloquent condemnation of their order.
President James Buchanan allowed Southern states to disobey federal laws and South Carolina to secede before Lincoln succeeded him. That “the Land of Lincoln” now openly encourages others, including organized criminals, to commit crimes in defiance of federal laws is an insult to the legacy of a great man who gave his life to reunify the Republic.
