Chicago mayor asks statehouse leaders for more funding for schools, transit, Bears – Center Square

“If you want transformation in the state of Illinois you have to pay for it. It’s just that simple,” said Mayor Brandon Johnson. “As far as the specifics of how we generate revenue to ensure that, that’s an ongoing conversation."

“Transformation”. “Equity.” “Public accommodation.” Wow, the Mayor really has the snow machine going even into the middle of May. Any idea of how to pay for all of his nonsense? Nah. Just give me the dough and I will make the world better. This guy doesn’t have a clue how to get things done in Springfield. Lori was not ready for Prime Time, but this guy is even worse if that’s possible. The Capitol is laughing at his posse’s buffoonery.

It makes sense when you realize the population no longer has a sense of city duty, and they no longer feel a love for America or it’s people. It’s degraded into a third-world battle over limited resources looted and divvied up between various tribal groups. And no, it hasn’t always been like this. Sure there’s been corruption and graft since the beginning of time, but I feel like every mayor up until now really felt a sense of duty.
