Chicago Mayor Lightfoot Blames Other States for Chicago’s Gun Violence Problem – Breitbart

Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Chicago’s high gun violence rates were a result of the city “being inundated with guns from states that have virtually no gun control.”

What a moron the mayor is. Strict gun laws with Wide Open Borders with Mexico is a recipe for disaster! Gangs get guns easy peasy.

Why doesn’t Mayor Lightfoot ask President Trump for Federal personnel dedicated to unauthorized interstate arms shipments into Chicago.

Mayor Lightfoot should be asked to explain why Iowa and Indiana do not have the same problem with their guns. Apparently the guns only start killing people once they cross the border into Chicago.
And the media talking heads nod solemnly and congratulate her for her valiant fight against these evil guns

Just like Chicago, Hammond, Gary, East Chicago and Indianapolis have evil murderers too. ?

Chicago’s suburbs have the same access to those evil out of state guns walking themselves across the state lines. How come those suburbs don’t have the same numbers of gang executions and attempted executions that Chicago does? It’s not the guns, it’s the residents.

to paraphase an old saying-
“They can have my guns over their dead bodies”.

I’m surprised the criminals aren’t obeying Chicago’s gun laws

I’m also surprised. Criminals are usually model citizens. You know what we need are more hate crime laws, fewer police, and more lenient courts.

In Rockford I have a saying that an expert is someone from out of town. Now it should be an expert in Illinois is always from out of state.

No wonder the city is in the state that it is–no one wants to take responsibility.

It is ALWAYS somebody else’s fault with these people. If only everyone thinked and acted exactly as they wish, Nirvana would be achieved.

If guns were totally eliminated, an evil murderer or robber still has access to fists, feet, knives (big problem in the UK), swords, pitchforks, scissors, broken bottles, whips and more. ☹️

Future free will can’t be stopped, until the evil murderer is killed. ?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
