Chicago metro area saw almost 300K leave in last 5 years – ABC7 (Chicago)

"A lot of these decisions to move aren't being made willfully. Chicago is losing a lot of the working class and blue collar jobs," said Iván Arenas of UIC's Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy. "The rent burden of the Black community is, for example, very high. They are paying a lot more than 30% of their income on rent."

“Here is the difference between Dante, Milton, and me. They wrote about hell and never saw the place. I wrote about Chicago after looking the town over for years and years.”

People aren’t leaving according to JB.
Good to see they are trying to emphasize eating fresh. Healthy eating can minimize other problems. Fresh food doesn’t make a lot of dollars for big pharma, but it makes a lot of sense.

Not a single mention of crime, taxes, corruption and incompetent government in this story, supposedly about why people are leaving.

The Democrat Pravda Media is unable to expose the true causes. Both the “Journalists” are unable to mentally comprehend such things and, even if somehow written, the editors will strike out anything that doesn’t fit the approved narrative. Writers of such heresy should be thankful that their only potential Gulag is being “canceled” in lieu of a short remaining lifetime of hard labor.

Taxes are going up, up and up. So rents will go up, up and up. This is the reality of the current situation. Get used to it or leave like hundreds of thousands already have.
