The Chicago Park District is intensifying its lobbying campaign for a $630 million revamp of Soldier Field and the Museum Campus even as Mayor Brandon Johnson remains focused on trying to keep the team.
More blatant stupidity spending. Bears are leaving Chicago, no matter what. It’s now between Arlington Heights and Hammond.

The city of Chicago is broke. They could have used Soldier Field for soccer instead of building another new stadium. The taxpayers are going broke. Chicago needs to stop all this wasteful spending.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
