Is it though? I talk to a lot of people in this city from all over, north, east west & south, high low and middle income and almost nobody I’ve talked to supported Kim Foxx, the rioting and looting. A lot of these people are die hard democrats and they were disgusted. A lot of them were out marching with BLM and were aghast that the mayor told the police to stand down in the 1st district as the Loop was trashed. Didnt pass a promotional exam, didnt take a promotional exam but you still end up a Commander, Chief etc. Have a background of scandal, sexual harrassment, excessive force, no problem. SHOW ME ONE CITY that handled the BLM riots appropriately. Detroit, that’s about it. The rest of the country burned. That’s the point of a riot.
The citizens of Chicago who participated in the protests and the riots should all be ashamed of themselves.
But they have no shame.
Not only are you correct, but they are STILL letting it happen.
Maybe Detroit has learned a lesson from its fall off the cliff. Chicago would do well to take note. But if course it won’t.
