Chicago is currently paying 30K or more, how about 20K.
What planet is this guy living on? Does he really think the democrat trifecta is going to “give” $12,000 to parents for the benefit of the child’s education? The democrats could not care less about the parents, the children or their education. What they do care about is putting that $12,000 per student in their own pocket. There will be mass purges before they let that happen. You have to keep the slaves scared and in their place.
OMG, Catholic schools could make a come back with program.
Ted suggested giving $12,000 to parents to find a school. This is less than half what CPS spends. I was surprised to find several Catholic schools, and at least one Lutheran school, charging tuition less than this figure.
Here is some info for tuition at Rockford Christian. There are multiple student discounts and tuition assistance. This is approx 1/3rd the cost of CPS. I wonder how many students at this school get passed on to the next grade who cannot read/write or do math? My guess is zero.

That’s because it doesn’t cost $30,000 per year to educate a child. Just like a toilet seat shouldn’t cost $4,000.
