Chicago Teachers Union A Step Closer To Strike Vote Over Concerns About COVID Safety In CPS SchoolsThe CTU’s so-called “tactics” include telling members they will call for a strike vote as early as mid-January if CPS does not change its return-to-buildings policy. But many teachers – including Jacobs – said they will walk, if needed, a mere 15 months after the last CTU strike ended.

Lori is so stupid that she thinks they will support her in the next mayoral so she’ll give them the world. The commie CTU will support Cabrini Kim or racist Stacy Davis Gates for mayor.

While the endless discharge process goes forward, will we need special appropriations for substitute teachers? Fire them, cancel them, squeeze them, fight them in court where you can list their names. When the appellate courts rule against you, file for bankruptcy. If the state won’t authorize Chapter 9, hopefully the system will have run out of money by the time these brats try to enforce their judgments. I think many of them prefer working from home. They can’t be held accountable for discipline. They can blame lack of achievement on the CCP Virus.

Good. Let them walk and make it ugly, really ugly and violent. Maybe this will finally be the tipping point the citizens of Chicago need to throw the CTU out and into the dustbin of history. Even better, dissolve CPS entirely and start over. #defundCTU #defundCPS #buildbackbetter

They are getting paid to stay home now. If they strike they don’t get paid. Let em walk. Most teachers I know are horrible about budgeting so many will fail financially on an extended strike. Let em go…we can laugh from the sidelines as they fail financially.

Let them strike for as long as they want. The kids certainly won’t be any less educated than they are now. It is world wide fact that zoom education does not work and is a failure. Break the union. Let them feel what it is like to be without a paycheck for a while like so many other Chiagoans have been.

More concerned about students who have less a chance of catching or spreading than getting into a plane shoulder to shoulder and going to an island in the sun.
