I used to run into Suzie and her late husband Michael all the time. Unfortunately, Michael died at a relatively young age. Most of these lots, if not all, were acquired in the Scavenger Sale tax auctions in the 2000s. For most, they probably paid between $250 to $1000 plus the cost of petitioning for tax deed.
