Class-Action Lawsuit to be Filed Against IHSA to Allow Fall Sports to Begin – NBC5 (Chicago)

The suit, to be filed this week in DuPage County,  alleges that prohibitions on some fall sports violates the IHSA’s constitution and bylaws, and has “caused mental health issues and financial hardships” for athletes and their families. Specifically, the suit alleges that the decision to postpone fall sports will have negative financial impacts on both students and parents, as they will fall behind in their ability to compete for athletic scholarships to make college more affordable.

Illinois: where Democrats control your life.

Let any coaches opt out that are afraid of COVID and if replacements can be found, play ball!

But that is not the real problem.

The real problem is certain Democrats want to create fear to prevent in person voting and promote mail in voting, because that allows easier cheating to win the election, in my opinion.

It is win at all costs.

I see nothing, I hear nothing, I know nothing, how preposterous you accuse us of cheating.

Putzker cant be bothered with IHSA. He has out of town equestrian competitions to attend with Teddi his daughter. But shhh….dont bring that upbecause he says its an attack on his family. This guy has been corrupt up to his eyeballs most of his life. Money talks. And it can also buy you a governors seat.

And very few are good enough to qualify. One aspect of COVID that I believe you will see is that athletic scholarships and non-revenue sports will diminish, and parents and students should begin to think realistically about obtaining a high value education. You couldn’t be more on point. I see high school teams completing on Cog Hill golf course wearing masks outside to comply with the tubby tyrant’s rules while his daughter is traveling out of state ( he has banned others from doing so.) to ride a horse. What a hypocrite! His response: I am tired of personal attacks!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
