Column: It’s Time For Chicago’s Mayor To Go It Alone On Pandemic Policy – Patch Chicago

Mark Konkol: "The greatest irony of Pritzker's tiered mitigations might be that the first region allowed to return to limited indoor dining as of Saturday is home to bands of restaurants that didn't abide by the governor's mandate in the first place."

The only caveat is that Groot is as dumb as the Dictator

All of these restrictions/mitigation are a joke. You can go thru one door at the supermarket but cant go thru another. A business must close at 8 so you dont get the virus but you can be here at 7:45 and you’re safe. Wear a mask 20 ft into a restaurant and take it off at your table. Magic germs know what time it is. Must wear a mask for a walk in the park, by yourself, with a nice breeze, because those germs are smart. You can sit at a table but no closer than 6ft to another table… Read more »

Maybe it comes under the category of doing something is better than doing nothing. Would you say doing nothing is the better choice?

What if ‘doing something’, like wearing ineffective, dirty cloth mask, is actually worse than doing nothing at all?

Much of the scientific evidence seems that only K95 or better masks are effective, and wearing the cloth masks are not only ineffective, but may actually spread the coronavirus even more.

Doing something is better than doing nothing? Even if the value is dubious at best? No matter what the cost? But hey, at least libs can feel virtuous.

Yesterday some lady refused to step out of her vehicle to pump gas until I got back in my car, because I wasn’t wearing a mask outdoors. She gave me a dirty look, I gave her one back.

I think it’s time to finally admit that preparations A through G have failed… We now must move on to Preparation H. (It was time to combat humor with humor… Lightfoot going it alone? That’s a joke, right?)

All of the absurd Wuhan Virus restrictions imposed by Democrat politicians will be lifted the day that Trump is no longer president. Everything regarding this Chinese Flu has been a political and financial assassination of Trump and everyone who supports Trump. The destruction of small businesses is a happy side effect since Democrats hate individuals and small businesses. Democrats prefer big business and large groups like labor unions because they can be more efficiently controlled and dominated (and they give bigger kickbacks and bribes than a bunch of penny-ante mom and pop businesses).
