Jim Dey: "Durbin committed a major faux pas thanks to the image he chose to use to illustrate his speech about the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Alex Pretti by federal officers in Minnesota. ... But while graphic — the photo depicts an execution — it wasn’t exactly flawless. One of the three ICE officers shown in the photo lacks a head, for instance, an absence the apparently failed to attract Durbin’s curiosity.
The photo of an ICE agent lacks a head and Durbin lacks a brain. What else is new?

I emailed Durbin and my Demoncrat congressman (who used the image in an email) asking if they would apologize for their fakery. No response received yet.

I don’t believe he ‘fell for it’ at all…
He knew & just didn’t care, as long as it furthered his propagandist narrative…

What is even more concerning is voters see Durban’s stunt and actually believe it all. Add to that the Illinois media, ie Chicago Tribune and Sun Times etc., do not call Durban out on the matter. Supposedly freedom of the press is a concept designed to call out politicians’ that distort the truth but, in Illinois, they are simply complicit players in the falsehoods distributed to the voting public.

Is he retiring before he gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar? Unfortunately, the Dems running for his seat are worse. Why would anyone vote for a candidate financed by Pritzker?
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

Durbin has always been a fool.
