Emanuel wrote that “the fact is that by 75, creativity, originality, and productivity are pretty much gone for the vast, vast majority of us. And let’s not forget his cave-in to the Chicago Teachers Union which exacerbated the City’s current budget problems, Or how about his $500 million emergency property tax increase that was supposed to solve all of our pension problems. That $500 million is down the drain and the pension problem is way worse. Or how about the hundreds of millions of TIF funds that went to his buddies and starved the neighborhoods and the schools.
