Community activists are claiming a majority of wins in new police oversight council elections – WBEZ (Chicago)

Frank Chapman, an organizer with the Empowering Communities for Public Safety coalition, said the candidates their organization helped weren’t all directly involved in progressive politics or activism, but do come from the community and have direct experience with being policed. “They’re going to make decisions that fit their interests. And that’s what this law was passed for."

“Community activists” = social bullies supported by the media and the DOJ.

Individuals peacefully demonstrating outside abortion clinics in broad daylight are terrorists; vandals attacking pregnancy assistance centers after dark are not terrorists and difficult to find because they do their business after dark. <– my poor paraphrasing of Merrick Garland’s recent testimony.

Police Board will be a Clown Show. And ultimately just another bloated, corrupt Chicago bureaucracy.
