Waukegan Ald. Sylvia Sims Bolton, turned herself in Wednesday after prosecutors said she submitted her dead mother’s vote-by-mail ballot during a March primary election, which has resulted in two charges, including one Class 4 Felony.
And that’s it. Not tens of thousands, according to the results of legal proceedings to date. Not enough to have influenced any major election in recent times, as far as I have seen.

No blaming the judges and juries either. That’s like blaming the refs for why you lost. If you have no evidence the ref was paid off, you’re just trying to avoid having to admit you didn’t prove your case enough.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
