Is anyone looking into the sort of money profs and admin are pulling down at these institutions of higher learning? University of St. Francis in Joliet is laying off people left and right- after the exit of an admin that was pulling down +750 K / year in salary and perks.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
