Douglas statue comes down, but Lincoln had racist views, too – AP Illinois

Allen Guelzo, a Princeton University scholar and three-time Lincoln Prize winner who co-created a five-step decision-making analysis for the removal of newly scrutinized memorials, believes that if Illinois uproots Douglas, Lincoln should follow, disqualified by the Matson case and his stance during the Charleston debate.

The Columbus statues were removed by Lori, Sophia King, chair of the progressive caucus, and the Grant Park Advisory Council who are sycophants of King and Michael Kelly. Ever since they gave into the blm mob, things have gotten worse.

Lincoln went from playing to the crowd to advocating for blacks to receive the right to vote in federal elections – a speech heard by Booth, triggering the assassination plot. But nevermind. I guess that’s like cancelling a Supreme Court nominee for something said in in high school. Everyone should just fall on their swords now and cancel themselves forever.
