Editorial: Chicago’s Springfield delegation socks it to the city’s taxpayers with reckless pension bill – Chicago Tribune/Yahoo

"Many Chicago lawmakers will be boasting as we approach yet another campaign season about how they held the line on income and sales taxes in a particularly tight budget year in Springfield. Voters shouldn’t be fooled. Every single one of those legislators acted to force inevitable future property tax hikes. Pension contributions are mainly funded by property taxes."

Hello, Indiana!

That’s what happens when you put your faith in politicians that “ can’t/ won’t/ it’s unthinkable!” in front of the camera or at town meetings and then do in the dead of night in Springfield. After they’ve hijacked the lion’s share of tax revenue and it still isn’t enough, it’s time to start bleeding downstate dry for the privilege of being in the same state as a rotting, corrupt, mismanaged cesspool.

Isn’t Illinois Fun?

Since Pritzker is so into protecting the residents of IL perhaps he could find a minute ro kill this bill.

More nutty details:
–to City Financial Officer Jaworski was vehemently against bill, was completely blindsided and has no idea how to pay for it….(how long before she quits)
–Republican voted for bill? one presume because it backs cops & fire?
–CTU/Brandon completely missing in action, as usual, to busy fighting DJT. But earlier Trib article states Brando was behind the bill?, working with Martwick to get JB to state he was in favor of bill.

WOW!!!, What a sh#t show, with taxpayers played for chumps as usual–AND IS MARTWICK THE MOST SLEAZY OPERATOR IS ALL OF SPRINGFIELD, the dudes evil..
