"Chuy García's action to clear the field for Patty Garcia — announcing he wasn't running for reelection with a scant few days before the deadline for petitions while secretly helping her to gather the needed signatures — was egregious enough. It's reprehensible that his organization now appears to be trying to boot two rivals off the ballot. It's another blight on his legacy. We confess to being puzzled as to why Team Pritzker would get involved."
