Initially, the grants of up to $25,000 were restricted to mortgage assistance, renovations or a down payment on a home - and this week, Evanston’s city council approved a cash option to its Housing Restorative Program. So far, the city has only spent $326,836 of the $10 million promised.
I used to go to Evanston to hear live music at Space. Always thought the parking sucked but was just in and out of town for the show. But now that a new venue has opened in Arlington Hts I no longer go there. Arlington seems to want business to thrive and Visitors welcome.

No wonder businesses are dumping Evanston — who wants to pay taxes for a race hustle scam
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
If the earth magically opened and swallowed Evanston there would be no loss to society
Lol… true, and I live there…!!!
