Much of the routine trade and investment between China and America is entirely appropriate and in America’s interest. But inserting the Chinese Communist Party into America’s pay-to-play system and its economic development strategy isn’t just crossing a line. It’s a leap into an abyss of stupidity.

My prediction is this will backfire. Many minorities don’t trust the Government or the healthcare system, and they’ll stay away. There will be plenty of vaccines available in the near term. They won’t know what to do with them as the drug companies produce mass quantities for a population where at least 40% don’t want the vaccine, and children and other segments of the population aren’t even approved to receive it yet. Not to mention all the people who know they had Covid but never got tested and won’t want the vaccine.
Just thinking out loud here, but I would imagine that much much more than 40% of folks have no interest in getting this vaccine any time in the near future. I’m guessing maybe about 75%.
And then over time the federal government will mandate it wait and see
If so, so be it. Like the name says, not an anti vaxxer. Also not a guinea pig or a lab mouse. Prove over time it’s safe, effective and necessary and I’m in.
