Candidates for U.S. Senate, from left: U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly, Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi and Lt. Gov. Juliana Stratton debate at the University of Chicago, Monday, Jan. 26, 2026. Another ambitious set found an opportunity to launch their long-plotted runs for higher office, leaving six highly coveted seats open in a rare game of political musical chairs.

The four parasites being replaced that have been around and accomplished nothing since there were still full service gas stations and pay phones won’t be missed and will likely be traded out for equally ineffective dreck that will draw fat paychecks well into their golden years.
