Illinois state revenue estimates are routinely wrong: 19 of the past 26 estimates have been off, some by billions. Worse, the Illinois General Assembly has not even officially adopted a revenue estimate since 2014. This leaves the public in the dark about assumptions lawmakers use when crafting the budget, and makes it nearly impossible to hold Springfield accountable for statutory and constitutional requirements to balance the budget.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Foggy crystal ball!!??
Just stop. It has been “all the abuse the suckers will bear” from end to end. Nothing else. Can we grow up now, please?
actual headline: democrap spending leads to 21 years of unconstitutional government.
