I read the article looking for evidence of racism. I found none. All I read was some old lady rambling on about being a child of the 60’s – which when people say that, it’s never a good thing. What I do remember from articles back in 2012 comparing that heat wave to the 1995 heat wave was air conditioners were the difference. Window air conditioners were cheaper and more widely available in 2012 vs. 1995, most likely because of, as some other poster here said in a different article, China’s most favored nation status, and they flooded the market… Read more »
