“Marketing” still makes use of subliminal perception and, in my view, the media is trying to sell us Harris while undermining Trump. This is accomplished through headlines or captions which are often the only content people read. (Few will read the rare apology!) Who knows the motive of the Tribune’s false headline? It may be to spare Chicago yet another bruise in reputation elsewhere in the world. One can’t help but think the editors know well that the headline is a lie. If the last 25 years represent progress the City of Chicago should just shut it all down. It is an epic, extremely expensive disaster.
