Gov. JB Pritzker issues stern letter to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, pleading for halting of migrant bus arrivals in frigid temperatures – NBC5 (Chicago)

Foto de un autobús de la CTA fuera de servicio. In a public letter, Pritzker acknowledged that he and Abbott both desire federal immigration reform, before accusing Abbott of choosing to "sow chaos in an attempt to score political points...You are now sending asylum seekers from Texas to the Upper Midwest in the middle of winter - many without coats, without shoes to protect them from the snow - to a city whose shelters are already overfilled with migrants you sent here."

Virtue signalling voters acting on emotion elected their Pritz to wave flags and toot horns. Those voters find some comfort in thinking someone else is to blame. Perhaps they are so deluded to think the governor of Texas is at fault and that Biden has clean hands.

The Constitution was designed to mitigate mob rule but, unfortunately humans have a design flaw when it comes to owning up to their own foolishness. Accordingly Pritzker continues to dodge responsibility and play to his mob. He has the megaphone but can’t do cartwheels like other vapid cheerleaders and clowns.

Pritzkler must send sternly-worded letter to root-cause of problem: Sleepy Joe administration. Sending letters to Abbott serves only to blame victim.

“A stern letter pleading.” Who writes these things? Stern implies harsh or strict while pleading implies begging or beseeching. Which one is it? I understand that NBC has Pritzker’s interests in mind but couldn’t it at least write a headline that makes sense? Perhaps, in this case, the “NBC Staff” is a product of the Chicago School System which would make some sense and my inability to understand it all because of my education under the Catholic nuns of years gone by.

Abbott better be careful. A stern letter might be followed by a cool glance over dinner at the next governor’s conference!

Then a rolling of the eyes and also an evil squint and finger pointing like Aunt Ester on Sanford & Son.

Abbott took action – he ran Biden’s DHS off. Maybe Pritzker should do the same.

Keep sending the illegal immigrants to IL Gov Abbott – Pritzker and the Democrats declared IL a sanctuary state, creating massive incentive for illegal border crossers.

Abbott probably would have ignored the letter, but since it was a stern letter I’m sure he’ll change his plans immediately!

Try writing your buddy Biden and ask him to close the border.

Check your facts, Governor: many illegal aliens are being sent to Chicago by NGOs. Catholic Charities for instance. They’re helping move the crisis to sanctuary cities and states.

This disaster is brought to Illinois and the rest of the country by the Biden administration, not Governor Abbot.

Lots of nice and warm Hyatt Hotels to send the illegals to. Let’s hope they all sign up for the Hyatt Rewards card.
