Two factors. Only something like 35% of eligible voters showed up for the primary. Out of that 35%, how many were CTU and SEIU members? 40%? So what will be the determining factor? Government unions and their agenda. Second, most voters who take the issues seriously and vote the issues like she does have moved out of the city and state like we did. We know that most voters put self interest, race, gender, and ethnicity ahead of common sense and good government issues. Not going to change, so leave.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
