Only 6 times as high? Come on Chicago, you can do better. Let’s all work together to push this to 10 times.

We have to focus on more important things here like those racist statues and defunding the police- you people mind your own bussiness

So what? The blacks in Chicongo don’t care enough to stop the killing, so why should the rest of us? The mindless killings are part and parcel of the liberal agenda and lack of leadership that Chicongoans have bee allowing for many, many years. The best thing that could happen is to nuke every hood area and start from scratch without the blacks.

Well then, the fact it’s only 6 times higher than the other top ranked shitholes means Chicagoans should definitely re-elect Beetlejuice and her (its) administration. She (It) is obviously doing a great job.

My son who works across the street from Willis Tower has in the last 18 months been in to the office about 6 times. They don’t care if they never go back in.

I am deeply saddened by what has become of my city. There are a number of reasons why and none of them are good. It takes people getting involved. Running for office participating in community groups to change the direction of the city and Illinois.

When 75% of CPD goes to no pay status and crime increases…..more, she’ll have the shade to deploy the army. We’ve got to keep the citizens of Chicago safe!

Where’s all the community “violence interrupters” and all the 10s of $millions$ that have been dole out by state, city & county? Answer–nobody knows, nobody cares

They’re all at the casinos! Violence interrupters, safe passage standing on street corners. It’s endless theatre. I think the only legit guy was Andrew Holmes. What happened to him?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
