Johnson Ban On Tipped Wage Would Hurt Businesses And Workers
I skimmed over the report which is based on 1,000 interviews. It certainly seems like there’s some bad players in the restaurant industry. I would hope that the major corporate players are not exploiting black and brown females like the report alleges. What I found really interesting is the report details how their minimum wage is between $9 and $15 but makes no mention of what their wage is when tips are included.
