If true, this raises the immediate question of “why this particular detainee?”. The scam required knowledge of the system and planning. Somebody went to a lot of trouble to get this guy out.
This woman needs PRISON time.
1) This article says it’s unclear if this even happened & If it did it is unknown what happened.
2) The Senator didn’t commit the alleged crime. It was someone from one of her many offices.
While the Senator is ultimately responsible for the actions of the people who work for her office, Senators aren’t automatically culpable for their actions.
