During her time in the Illinois General Assembly, Costa Howard demonstrated a strong commitment to left-wing causes, trumpeting constitutionally questionable measures, such as gun control laws and legislation cementing Illinois' reputation as one of the most pro-abortion state governments in the U.S. The so-called Protect Illinois Communities Act, which bans a wide range of semiautomatic firearms, is the subject of a constitutional challenge pending before the U.S. Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

I guess, as with the millions of illegals Joe & Co. encouraged to stroll unmolested across the southern border, vetting has gone the way of the pay phone. Judges are supposed to be impartial, not proud members of Democratic Socialists of America or any other left/ right leaning group. The Obamazation of the legal system continues.
