Surprise! The political animals infesting the Illinois Supreme Court showed their leftist, partisan bias in the name of removing bias from Illinois courts.
Illinois elects only the supremely dumb to the Illinois Supreme Court.
“(T)here was an ‘obvious . . . threat’ that a member of the public might reasonably question his impartiality.” As a member of the public, I question the impartiality of the Illinois Supreme Court. A judge that is elected due to the financial backing of the governor is implicitly indebted to him – there is no impartiality on the Illinois Supreme Court.

So any retired judge is not allowed to express a political opinion as a private citizen? Or only if he talks about a Republican office holder? The IL Supreme Court is so obviously biased how can they say this with a straight face? Hopefully it takes a federal court to explain how free speech of a private citizen is protected. How can any resident of IL trust any part of IL’s judicial system? Calling it a Supreme Court is laughable.
Not so fast.
