This 87-page report claims that higher education in Illinois has “racial injustices embedded in the postsecondary system” and that the state has a “moral obligation and economic interest to dismantle and reform structures that create or exacerbate racial and socioeconomic inequities in higher education.” The funding plan would also require roughly $1.4 billion to “fully meet student needs in an adequate and equitable manner.”

Oh, good – more affirmative action
Hello, Indiana !

I guess it would be a problem packing the colleges in IL with minority students that don’t qualify to be there, but the majority of higher education schools in this state are hardly turning bodies away. If they weren’t wasting tax dollars on yet another dreamy, equitable scheme such as this, IL would surely find another window to throw money out of.

I know it’s a stretch but I thought paying for minorities was outlawed by the 13th amendment. Apparently not.
The constitution is merely a piece of paper to the communists. or as Pompey the Roman General is quoted as saying:
“Milites sunt, non scholastici; arma habent, non libros; gladio, non verbo, rem decernunt.” This translates roughly to: “These men are soldiers, not scholars; they carry arms, not books; they settle matters with the sword, not with words.” Meaning that the Harris-Biden administration, as the state, has a monopoly on violence, and quoting laws to them means nothing.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
