State lawmakers are reviewing multiple proposals to help lower utility bills and increase energy capacity during veto session. Storage will play a key role in any plan lawmakers try to pass next month.

Golly. Democrats AKA Communists are so bottomlessly dumb. Solar panels work – at best – 40 % of the time. Night, dawn, dusk and clouds. The ONLY solution is nuclear power but nukes are too complicated for the Democrat AKA Communist mind to comprehend. Let these buffoons sit in the dark on a long February night.

Do they realize we live in a state that doesn’t see the sun for 3 months? And then we are supposed to store a battery at our homes that will likely catch on fire? No thanks. This is about getting enough consumers off the grid so they can divert power to supercomputing centers. With its aging infrastructure, Illinois should call it “Storage for AI” not “Storage for All.” Consumers will pay dearly for this industry.
