Am I to believe that something woke up some Illinois taxpayers? Spend, per the article, 2 billion on illegals, 827 million on Rivan and 536 million on Gotion with not much of a word but all of a sudden don’t open the wallet for the Bears and the roof starts caving in. When you are a multi-billionaire, and you go to $70 grand per year legislators asking them to give you a ton of money, you have to know how to ask nicely. They did get a deal to get Soldier Field redone. A financially poor deal. However, they got a stadium that is the smallest in the NFL, not the best location, poorly done and outdated by the time it was done. So, now they want a new deal.
