The excessive public sector compensation has destroyed the quality of life for most all residents. Many residents and businesses are fleeing and many more cannot wait to get the hell out of the state. This is destroying the economic environment. Illinois has to bribe businesses to move there. Then they go bankrupt and close their doors. Let the public sector pay the bills get out as soon as you can. Your family will have a special holiday every year to celebrate the day you leave for generations to come.
